After my formal studies, I started working as an HRT consultant (implementation of HR software). After seventeen years of extensive international project experience, I decided to take things into a new direction. I took the leap towards a job in which I can combine my creative views, interest in electronics and skills as a programmer.

In 2021 I started the Sabbattini training at DeSingel (Antwerp) to become a stage technician. It soon was clear that lightingdesign in particular, was my thing. My internships in CC Bolwerk and Ancienne Belgique confirmed my choice to switch to a creative-technical profession. I am eager to use my project experience and hands-on mentality in the cultural sector, expand my knowledge in the field and create light designs that support artists to the fullest.

From 2023 to 2025 I taught Chamsys lighting desk at Sabbattini training at deSingel (Antwerp).

I freelance as a Lighting Engineer (conception, design, programming, operating, infrastructure and tech) and provide advisory services for convertion to LED and networked lighting.
Besides freelancing I’m also an in-house lighttech at Corso.
